I have been inspired, by the presence of a yummy Easter egg sat on my desk this morning, to have a bit of fun in my blog today, so there’s a bit of an Easter theme. Here are my top, Easter-related jobs for you to enjoy, and you never know, one of them may be right up your street...
Easter Eggs
You could be the next Willy Wonka with this vacancy, as the catering manager in a chocolate factory! Sounds eggcelent to me! Ok, ok I promise I won’t continue with the poor egg yolks, I mean jokes!
Catering Manager
Easter Chicks
Easter isn’t complete without the presence of little chicks, and if you’re a fan of poultry, this might just be the thing for you. This job as a Hatchery Manager in Essex will have you looking after the eggs and hatching the chicks, but don’t worry; you won’t have to sit on them yourself.

Easter Bunnies
After much hopeful searching, it doesn’t seem like there’s much demand for people dressing up as the Easter bunny, but if rabbits are what you’re after, the White Rabbit Inn in Maidstone are looking for a kitchen manager.

And in other Easter/Job news...
The Jobcentre that has been left with egg on their face...
A branch of the Jobcentre Plus in London came into the spotlight yesterday after the media got wind of their plans to hold an Easter egg hunt for jobseekers.
Amongst the ‘prizes’ for successfully scouring the building for eggs, were job application forms and vouchers to buy office clothes.
The idea, although intended to 'attract employers and create more job opportunities' (Read More) fell flat, and gained a lot of negative attention, both from the media and jobseekers alike, due to the frankly ridiculous, nature of the event. Many jobseekers felt that the idea was demeaning and humiliating, and not a particularly helpful job seeking exercise.
Due to the media furore surrounding the proposed event, the Jobcentre have reportedly cancelled the event.
Happy Easter Everyone! I shall endeavour to suitably gorge myself on chocolate over the Easter weekend, whilst researching next week’s blogs! Have fun, and as always, Happy Job Hunting!
